If you can sing, and belt out a tune.  You have the opportunity to compete in West Texas Idol.

The great thing about West Texas Idol is, it's a LIVE Virtual audition, so you don't have to travel.   They are looking for the best of the best from Amarillo, Hereford, and the surrounding areas.

Auditions will be held virtually all over the area.  In fact, you can audition within a 50-mile radius from each city.

Auditions will take place on the following dates.

Hereford - April 11-12
Amarillo - April 13-14
Lubbock - April 18-19

If you cannot make your towns audition day, you can pick another date that works for you.  If you are unable to make it to any of the Idol Across America events, you can submit a video audition by emailing it to video@westtexasidol.com.

Even though your auditions are through Zoom, dress for the part and keep it appropriate.

You can sing anything you want.  Keep any explicit words to a minimum.

You have 5 minutes to introduce yourself and perform for at least 90 seconds (be prepared to sing another song)

You can use an instrument or a backing track (no vocals on the track)
