    Up in the Air for Family Care Balloon Rally Returns in September

    The Balloon Rally has become a tradition in Amarillo. Each year the Family Care Foundation and Happy State Bank brings the city a fun 3 days of balloons and family fun. Make plans to bring the family out to enjoy the sights of all the amazing hot air balloons.

    All Sick Teddy Bears Report To The Amarillo Zoo

    Is your stuffed animal under the weather? Teddy feeling a bit blue? Bring your favorite stuffed animal, or “adopt” one from our gift shop, to get a checkup with our Zoo staff. Stuffed animals might get their vitals checked, bandaged or given “medicine” to make sure they have a clean bill of health before heading home.

    Friends of Fogelberg

    The popular Friends of Fogelberg concert returns this week but now with two performances at the Globe-News Center for Performing Arts on either Thursday, September 7 or Friday, September 8. The concert starts at 7 p.m. It features some of the area's top talent and it benefits the fight against prostate cancer. Advance tickets are recommended as the concert has sold out in the past.
