The Spin Doctors Will Kick Off United Way Fall Fundraiser

This morning, many of you Mix listeners may have heard Charlie mention something about a "Big Announcement" made at 11am. Here is the recap for those who missed it!

Here's the big news: it was announced that the kick off for United Way's annual fall fundraiser will be a live music event with the main performers being none other than the legendary musical group, The Spin Doctors!

This is the real deal, though. No cover or tribute bands; it will be THE actual Spin Doctors taking the stage!

The Spin Doctors are known their two hits "Two Princes" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong". These chart-topping songs are well known across the nation and all age groups.

According to a spokesperson from the United Way of Amarillo-Canyon, this year's campaign kickoff will be unlike the ones they've hosted in the past. This year's fall fundraiser kick off will be a family-friendly event complete with food and live music.

The Details

The Spin Doctors concert will be at the Starlight Ranch Event Center on Thursday, September 2nd. The doors will open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm. The Spin Doctors will go on stage around 8:30 pm.

Tickets will go on sale next Tuesday beginning at 10 am and beginning at $30. VIP packages are also available. All proceeds go entirely to the United Way of Amarillo-Canyon.

This is an event that you and your family do not want to miss! There will only be about 2,500 tickets and they will sell fast so make sure you get your as soon as they become available.
