I have enjoyed spending summer vacations at the Gaylord, Texan because it is like a small city inside Grapevine. From the minute you walk into the door you are surrounded by beauty. From the giant fountain in the atrium, to the beautiful plants, and the view from your room, whether you are looking to the outside of the resort or into the atrium is a beauty like no other. When it comes to food, there is a place and a taste for everyone in the family. They have several different restaurants, Old Hickory Steakhouse, Zeppole, Texas Station, and the Riverwalk Cantina on site, or you can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner brought to your room. They even have their very own nightclub, Glass Cactus, so you can dance the night away. Every season the Gaylord Texan has something new to offer.
Relax with your family at Paradise Springs. You will enjoy floating on their lazy river. The lazy river was one of my favorite places to relax. Just hop on a tube and enjoy as you make your way around and around the river. If you just want to relax or easy some tired muscles unwind in one of their two horseshoe-shaped hot tubs. Plus, you definitely don't want to miss out on the water slide. Fun times in the sun are waiting for you at the Gaylord Texan.
