I'll admit after the first episode of "True Blood," I wanted to know about Sookie Stackhouse and her vampire adventures.  I was excited when I found out that it was based on a series of books by author Charlaine Harris.  I went to the store and picked up the first Sookie Stackhouse novel and from then on I was hooked.

By now you should know that I am a self-proclaimed Sci-Fi geek. So, I was really excited to find out that CBS and Image Entertainment had decided to start releasing "The Twilight Zone" on Blu-Ray. So far, they have released the first 3 seasons, but the "geek" in me really came out when I saw all the extra and special features that were attached to each set.

It was 46 years ago today that the Beatles' took over the music charts and, as far as I know, it's an achievement that has NEVER happened again. The Beatles had made their first U.S. appearance barely two months before and "Beatlemania" was sweeping the nation.

One thing we always hate to hear in a relationship is, "I think we would be better off friends." For most of us, this means only one thing, the relationship is over. I don't know about you, but it takes me some time to get over a breakup, before we can move into the "friends" stage.

So over the holidays I was able to read a really great book by Seth Grahame-Smith.  It took one of my favorite book characters, the vampire, and mixed in a little history and a little suspense and lots of blood.
