St. Patrick's Day is celebrated in full force all over America. Usually that involves a lot of whiskey and green beer... and a huge headache the next day.

In fact, they should just name March 18th "International Stay In Bed Day."

But the Irish are practiced in the art of celebration. That's why their hangover foods are so effective.

Here are four hangover foods you might need to try to make it through the day.

  • 1

    Irish Breakfast

The Irish breakfast is basically a buffet of all hangover foods. Bangers (sausage), rashers (bacon), potatoes, mushrooms, black and/or white pudding, Irish soda bread, tomatoes, and eggs are all included in a full Irish breakfast. Some people also refer to this plate as a "fry," depending on what is featured.
  • 2

    Hot Chicken Roll

This is basically a fried chicken sandwich, but the Irish swear by it. A nice hot roll sandwiches fried chicken, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and cheese. There are also a variety of sauces and toppings the Irish use to spice it up.

    3-In-1

This one may not look appetizing, but, once again, the Irish swear by it. A 3-in-1 is a serving of chips (fries), curry, and rice.

  • 4

    Jambons

A jambon is a pastry filled with cheese, ham, and bacon. Need I say more?
