Amarillo Latino Professional Group To Hold Virtual Fundraiser

The days of virtual fundraising is coming to new heights. A virtual fundraiser is being held by the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) here in Amarillo. The student chapter part of the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business is hosting their first virtual fundraiser event to raise funds for the Meals on Wheels non-profit organization in Amarillo.

Meals on Wheels has been in our area since 1971 providing meals to the elderly, disabled and other home-bound folks in our area. All meals are hot and delivered by dedicated volunteers.

If you would like to make a virtual donation during the tough times of COVID-19 you can do so on the ALPFA Facebook page.

Their community goal is to reach $1,000 by December 14, 2020.
