Amarillo Police Call Two Dead Burglars Justifiable Homicide
Amarillo police have released new information on a shooting Monday morning that left two people dead in a driveway near downtown Amarillo, calling it "justifiable homicide." Amarillo Police in a statement said a person was at home when they confronted someone trying to break in.
A scuffle followed, during which another person also tried to reportedly attack the homeowner.
Police said the homeowner was armed and shot 27-year-old Jesus Maldonado and 23-year-old Anthony Adams, both which died at the scene.
