Amarillo Public Library Is Going to Be Resuming Curbside Service
You can't really complain about convenience, especially when it's done in the name of safety. Amarillo Public Library is starting up curbside services again.
In an announcement made via social media, Amarillo Public Library states that the decision was made as a part of their effort to help reduce the spread of Covid-19 in our community. You have to tip your hat to the library. This has been a major focus of theirs since the start of everything last year.
They also released the schedule for curbside service at the Library's locations. They do mention that curbside service will not be available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. You can see the post below.
Amarillo Public Library has done a lot to try and help reduce spread in the community over the past year. The most recent big change was to AMA-Con. Instead of having the event full capacity at the Civic Center, they got creative.
Half of the event was held outside, while gaming and Geek Prom were able to still take place at the Civic Center once the outdoor portion of the event wrapped up.
With the recent spike in cases, you'll definitely want to keep up with your favorite events, organizations, and restaurants for a little bit. There are already some changes being implemented in Amarillo.
Top of Texas Pro Wrestling recently announced that they will be closing up shop "indefinitely." Among the reasons cited was the safety and well being of the talent, the staff, and the fans.
