Amarillo SPCA Is Postponing Mutt Fest For Later This Year
One of the biggest pet-focused events of the year in Amarillo will be postponing due to coronavirus and COVID-19. The Amarillo SPCA's Mutt Fest was originally slated for Sunday, May 17, will be rescheduled for later this year. Mutt Fest has been voted one of the top 3 festivals held each year in Amarillo. This year's theme is "Bark Wars," with a Star Wars theme to the event. This is also the first year that the festival is relocating to the Starlight Ranch Event Center as the crowds, vendors, and activities grow.
If you have attended before, the same rules apply. All fur babies are welcome, they just need to be on a leash and up to date on their vaccines. There will be food from Rudy's BBQ, live music, a shot clinic, vendors, canine contests, and more. Stay tuned for a new date to be announced soon to keep this Amarillo event going for another year!
