BREAKING NEWS: One Person Shot at the The Colonies At Hillside Apartment Complex

Our friends at ProNews 7 are reporting that a person has been shot at The Colonies at Hillside Apartments this morning.  Amarillo Police have confirmed one person was shot this morning at 4:35am.  No arrests have been made.

UPDATE 7:42am

APD found a man shot in the abdomen when they arrived at the scene.  The man was taken to the hospital.  The occupant of the apartment said that he had a party and the the man was was asked to leave.  The man came back and forced his way into the apartment and tried to fight with the resident.  The resident of the apartment fired a gun and shot the man.  The investigation is on going.
