Canadian Geese Make Their Annual Stop in West Texas [Video]
Growing up at Possum Kingdom Lake, I looked forward every year to the Canadian geese stopping by during their migration.
I loved that my Dad always called them Canadian Honkers due to the noise they make. It isn't a quack; it's definitely a honk.
In West Texas, these geese commandeer every body of water and spread across the skies in Y and V formations. It's a simple thing, but something that truly marks the arrival of the holiday season each year.
Check out some video below of the Canadian Geese enjoying their time in Lubbock.
