It's unassuming on the outside. Hotel Turkey looks like any other old hotel you would find in a small rural community. Some believe that Hotel Turkey has a lot more to it than what meets the eye.

The Haunted Hotel In Turkey, Texas

Turkey is a pretty small town. Like many small rural towns, it is full of charm that hearkens back to a time that has long since passed.

I grew up in a town a lot like that. Old buildings were never torn down or changed. It kept the history alive.

Apparently, the history is very much alive...so to speak...at Hotel Turkey. According to legend, it's got a lot of history still roaming around.

Disembodied Voices And A Lady In The Hall

There are all kinds of stories out there if you go digging. There's everything from doors opening and closing on their own, to a shadowy woman lurking the halls.

If you're lucky, or unlucky depending on how you feel about it, you'll notice her just out of the corner of your eye.

But that's not where the real action is.

Check Out Room Number 7

Supposedly this is the room where the most action is. A lot of people claim to have heard things or have had lights flicker while in Room 7. It seems to be the hot spot in Hotel Turkey.

With all of the stories coming out of Hotel Turkey, it makes you wonder what's going on. As old as it is, it isn't hard to imagine that there might be a bit of history roaming the halls or hanging out in Room 7.

Digging through videos and comment threads, the one thing people mention the most is the breakfast. At least from what I've seen.

Maybe the ghosts aren't that problematic.
