If you care to support the PDSG, have your family and friends sponsor you with donations.  Those who raise money are eligible for prizes, including T-shirts, water bottles, pedometers, and the most awesome engraved Yeti Tumblers.

Where does the Buddy Walk money go?

After expenses, 20% of our Buddy Walk proceeds are donated to the NDSS to support national advocacy and public awareness initiatives that serve individuals with Down syndrome.  This is the largest source of private funding for Down syndrome research in the world.  It is important work.

The remaining funds are used by PDSG in the Panhandle area to:

A) pay for educational packets and books for new parents of children with Down syndrome;

B) organize outreach and educational programs;

C) underwrite social events for families of people with Down syndrome;

D) send delegates to national events in order to bring back the latest information to the Texas Panhandle.
