Easter EGG-Citement coming to the Amarillo Zoo

Looking for something fun to do with the kids this Easter weekend.  Well, hop on over to our local zoo for some extra Easter fun.

The Amarillo Zoo is a fun place to go and visit the animals on any given day, but when Easter rolls around, they have a special furry friend that comes to the Zoo to play.  Plus they bring along some special guests including Alice, the Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts and of course, the March Hare, Bugs Bunny and guest of honor- the Easter Bunny!

Saturday, March 30th

9:30a-3pm

Amarillo Zoo in Thompson Park

Plus kids can plant a sunflower seed  and take it home and transfer it to the family garden.  If they love to cuddle then they can pet one of the cuddly bunnies living in Bunnyville.

Other activities include:

Eggy Enrichments for our animals
Find a GOLDEN EGG and win a special prize!
Plus an exhibit on all sorts of animal eggs including golden eagle, whooping crane, python, and more

Face painting will be available for an extra fee.

Admission:

$5 for adults (ages 13 and up)

$4 for seniors (ages 62 and over)

$3 for children (ages 3-12)

Children 2 and under are free
