In all honesty, you shouldn't have to worry too much as long as you don't have a trunk full of cash and drugs. That's what would make driving through Texas dangerous if you hit it big.

Recently, a news story came out about a couple of guys on their way to New Jersey. Supposedly they were headed that way to do some sports betting.

They also, supposedly, are pro gamblers.

According to the news story, records showed that one of the men did hit his fair share of jackpots in 2021 while sports betting. Still, that doesn't explain the drugs.

They broke the main rule. It's rule numero uno. What ever happens at the casino, stays at the casino. You don't take it to Wheeler County Texas of all places.

I'm talking about the drugs of course. Your money is your money. Leave the drugs. People are always getting caught on I-40 in the Texas Panhandle.

Cash With A Side Of Drugs Isn't A Good Look While Traveling In Texas

I'll admit, Texas isn't nearly as free as its neighbors when it comes to certain things. Namely, gambling and "drugs." Still, the law is the law and if you're on I-40 in the panhandle of Texas, you have to play by those rules.

I do wish the news report listed exactly what the drugs were, or where the pro gamblers were headed from.

Pro Gambling Could Just Be A Clever Attempt At A Cover Up

According to the news, the Feds want a chunk of that cash because they think it could be linked to drug deals. Which makes a lot of sense.

Especially since they had an alleged trunk load of cash.
