Jingle All the Way: Unwrapping the Magic of Christmas in Canyon
It's the most wonderful time of the year and it's time to celebrate. As the holidays near so do the fun festivities.
You'll want to mark your calendars for all the Christmas fun in Canyon, Texas. If you have been to the 4th of July festivities, you know Canyon knows how to celebrate and they are celebrating Christmas in a BIG way.
CHRISTMAS IN CANYON - Saturday, December 2nd.
Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum Christmas Open House - 10 am - 4 pm
The museum will have Christmas activities sprinkled throughout, including crafts and Christmas cookies.
The Canyon Library will be on-site sharing stories of Christmas. Choirs from all over the area will entertain with Christmas Carols. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available in the Hazlewood Lecture Hall. Plus plenty of photo ops for you and your family. Admission is one can of food or $1 per person benefitting the High Plains Food Pank.
Join the WTAMU Pre-Vet Club on the Canyon Square from 12-3 pm. Your dogs can have their picture taken with Santa. (Dogs Only)
Photos with Santa - 4-6 pm
Bring out the family and kids and take pictures with Santa. The Canyon Lions Club will be on-site with hot chocolate.
Parade of Lights - First Methodist Church down 4th Avenue to the Canyon Square - 6:30 pm
The City of Canyon Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony - Canyon Square - after the parade. Come see the amazing Christmas Tree that will be shining in Canyon this year. Followed by Christmas Fireworks.
It's a full day in Canyon! While you're in Canyon stop and grab a bite at one of their many delicious local restaurants, shop for Christmas gifts at their many local stores, and celebrate Christmas in Canyon!

Wednesday, November 29th, 4-6 pm in Legacy Hall inside the Jack B. Kelly Student Center.
Festival of Lights
Wednesday, November 29th, 6 pm, Buffalo Fountain in the middle of the WT campus. Over 144,000 lights will twinkle all over campus.
WT Symphony Orchestra's I Heard the Bells! Music of the Christmas Season
Sunday, December 3rd, 4 pm and 7 pm in Mary Moody Northen Recital Hall. Although admission is free, you will still need tickets to attend, you can get those tickets here.
WT Opera’s performances of “Amahl and the Night Visitors”
Thursday, November 30th at 7:30 pm and Friday, December 1st in the Sybil B. Harrington Fine Arts Complex Recital Hall. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.
WT Chamber Singers’ Christmas concert on Saturday, December 2nd, at 7:30 pm in Mary Moody Northen Recital Hall. Admission is free.
