UPDATE (7/6): Kylie Jenner has responded to the Better Business Bureau's failing grade via a post on her website, saying the company has changed its rating. They reportedly switched the F rating to a C and then to a B-, before removing the grade altogether, according to E! News.

"The company replied that because their product is shipped in highly recognizable packaging, they feel that packages are being vandalized or stolen," Better Business Bureau wrote on its site at the time. "The company also indicated that they were taking steps to change their packaging so that it is less recognizable."

A new rating will reportedly be issued after another review.

Kylie Jenner's commitment to providing the latest and greatest in cosmetics is just lip service, according to the Better Business Bureau.

While Kylie's famous lip kit line, which launched nine months ago, has received support from the Jenner-Kardashian clan and frequently sells out as soon as her website restocks. But those outside the famous family circle are less than satisfied, according to TMZThe site reports the BBB has given Kylie's company an F after receiving nearly 150 complaints that include pieces missing in orders, delivery issues and problems with billing.

Most consumer problems have amounted to incomplete packages, but Kylie Cosmetics insists each order is weighed before it's shipped out. The company has claimed it's possible that incorrect shipments might have been vandalized or stolen while en route to intended recipients.

"The company also indicated that they were taking steps to change their packaging so that it is less recognizable," the BBB website says.

Jenner insisted in a message to her fans via TheKylieJenner.com that she's been working to ensure fewer sell-outs of her lip kit. Demand has often exceeded supply, amounting to frustration with many bare-lipped disciples.

"So over the last few months I have been working really hard with my team to expand and make enough product to try and keep my store open with product more often," she wrote. "I'm so excited to tell you that I think we are getting much closer to that and over the 4th of July weekend we are starting by adding more product than ever to the website so hopefully you can have a relaxed weekend and shop whenever it works for you."

It does look like the preparation has paid off: As of publication of this post, roughly half of Kylie's lip line is in stock.
