Murphy Sam and Jodi’s Jodi Was Honored at The Children’s Miracle Network Celebration

Our very own Jodi Carson of Murphy Sam and Jodi received the highest honor a radio personality can receive from the Children's Miracle Network.  On Thursday, October 10th, Jodi was named The National Radio Personality of the Year by the National Office of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

" Jodi Carson is receiving the award for National English Radio Person of the Year for her contribution in and outside of Radiothon to create awareness of children who are in need of medical assistance," says Jim Littrell, Senior Director of Radiothons at CMN.

 

Jodi was recognized before more than 1,500 attendees including hospital personnel, partners, celebrities, media, radio and TV personalities, as well as all CMN Champions and their families, which include one miracle child from each state in the United States and 1 child from each province in Canada. The official recognition includes artwork from Trinity, age 10, who is a patient at Central Lynchburg General Hospital.
