Postpartum Progress Presents the Climb Out of the Darkness 2015
Postpartum Progress is a national organization that helps with ladies who suffer from postpartum anxiety, postpartum OCD, depression or anxiety during pregnancy, post-adoption depression, postpartum PTSD, depression after miscarriage or perinatal loss and postpartum psychosis. They offer support groups and help for those who do suffer from the any of the above. Amarillo has a local chapter and they have an amazing event coming up.

Medi Park near the Botanical Gardens
This event is the world's largest event that raises funds and awareness of postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety and those mental illnesses that are realted to childbirth and pregnancy.
Over 1 in 7 women suffer from one or all the above illnesses related to postpartum. Most women don't even realize they are suffering after they give birth.
Join in on the climb. The event is free, but they do encourage folks to help raise funds.
