Reminder That Spring And Summer Are Close From Community Market
Everyone I know is looking forward to warmer weather. They're all looking forward to dinner on the patio, spring, summer, being outdoors. If you need a reminder that we're getting close, look to Amarillo Community Market.
Amarillo Community Market Is Getting Ready For 2023
Recently, the Amarillo Community Market put out the word that applications would soon be open for vendors. Even though I don't have anything to sell, that news still excites me.
It means that we're getting close to the Community Market opening up, which means summer is right around the corner. That means warm weather and being outdoors.
The applications officially opened up on March 1. You can check out their website for more info if you are wanting to sell your wares this year.
Amarillo Community Market Kicks Off In June
So, we still have a while to wait. It will run from June 10 until September 9 this year.
If you've never been to the Community Market, it's well worth checking out. Put it on your calendar for stuff to do this summer.
You can usually expect that there will be live music while the Community Market is open. There's also usually a class or a workshop taking place. Those can cover a wide variety of topics.
Of course there's an incredibly diverse selection, most of the time, when it comes to vendors. Along with what you would expect like jams and jellies, pickles, vegetables, and other food items, there are a lot of unique items usually up for sale. It's worth checking out all of the "arts & crafts" vendors that are there.
While we still to wait, it is a nice reminder that warmer weather and sunny days are right around the corner.
