If You Have Been Missing Amarillo’s Community Market It’s Back This Weekend
One of the best things about the summer months is we get outside and do a lot more. I feel that fall sometimes gets a bad wrap. We still do things outdoors but the events change. We get cold while we are out at football games and other outdoor stuff.
We still do it though. Our weather has been pretty mild so far. We have cold mornings but they lead way to warmer afternoons. So this weekend seems like a perfect day to bring the Amarillo Community Market back. This time with a fall theme. They shut down the event at the end of summer.
It seems perfect to bring it back in time for the holiday shopping season. It will still be taking place at the Santa Fe Depot - 401 S Grant. They are adding some new stuff in the mix. You can take the family ice skating at the Ice Ranch - right down the road at 301 S Grant from 9am - 11am.
You can bring your pet dressed up in their Halloween costume and enter them in the contest at 10am. You can also hang around and meet the Amarillo mascots, Ruckus and Rough. They will make an appearance at 11am.
In between all of that there will be shopping.
Shop with our great local vendors for fresh produce, baked goods, eggs, jams, honey, salsa, jewelry, candles, art & crafts.
Shop early for Christmas!
