Snow Can Be Great To Eat Too! Snow Recipes!
You look outside and see the snow blowing. It doesn't look like fun. But snow can be!
This is NOT the snow to make this happen but save this or print it off! Our next big snow could end up being your favorite.
I feel it will happen! We are due! Here are a few snow based desserts that you can try. I am actually looking forward to snow after reading about these!
1. Maple Candy: You need to heat some maple syrup in a pan to about 240 degrees. A thermometer would be handy for this. Then drizzle it in strips over packed snow. You can then roll it onto a popsicle stick. This should end up with a taffy-like consistencey.
2. Hot Cocoa Slushies: You can melt 3 oz. of chocolate and then stir in 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder, plus 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar. At this point remove it from the stove and stir in 1/2 cup of milk. Let it cool and add another cup of milk.
At this time you need to start adding snow until it has the consistency of a slushy. As an extra bonus you can top it with whipped cream.
3. Peppermint Snow Ice Cream: Mix 8 cups of snow with a 14 oz can of condensed milk....add a tsp of peppermint extract. Sounds nice and minty.
So keep these recipes handy and be ready to enjoy the snow on another level. What are your favorite snow recipes? Comment below!
