I was watching SpongeBob yesterday afternoon with E. and it was a Christmas episode.  In the episode it was snowing in Bikini Bottom.  How is it possible for it to snow underwater?

Yes, I realize that it is a cartoon and that crazy things happen in cartoons.  I mean we are talking about a talking sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea.  However, the snow just threw me off yesterday.  So I posted on facebook.

It just doesn't make sense, snow underwater?

So not long after I posted that I had several responses to my post about other things that shouldn't happen underwater.

Crabby Patties: Wouldn't the bread be soggy and dissolve?  That and how does the grill stay lit?

Fire: Really it is underwater, how in the heck does a campfire stay lit?

Vehicles: How can a motorcycle work underwater or a boat for that matter they were made to float, and water in an engine just cannot work.  A submarine yes, but the rest no!

When it comes to SpongeBob, suspension of disbelief must come into play.  What other things have you noticed about SpongeBob that shouldn't happen underwater?
