This is going to be fun, The Amarillo Area Foundation has partnered with Street Volkswagen to “Fill the Beetle with Peanut Butter,” creating a food drive to benefit the High Plains Food Bank.

With the Amarillo Area Foundation Christmas part cancelled, the foundation will donate $800 to buy peanut butter for the High Plains Food Bank.

As a leader in philanthropic, nonprofit, and community issues, the Foundation is a catalyzing force that addresses the community’s most critical challenges by providing significant, shared and lasting results.

Recently the Amarillo Area Foundation “The Panhandle Gives” campaign has risen over $3.5 million for local non-profits, well above the 2 million dollar goal.
