When you have a favorite dish at a favorite restaurant in Amarillo and it closes down it means tragedy. You end up searching for a place that offers something close. Country Pride Enchiladas are one dish that comes to mind.

So many great places have come and gone. What needs to come back?

So recently we took a trip down memory lane. We had the discussion of which Amarillo Restaurants were gone from Amarillo but man you surely miss it. There were many great Amarillo restaurants that we are sad to see are no longer around.

It seems like I went back in time recently. I asked the question wanting to know which Amarillo restaurant was gone and you really missed having it here. Oh wow the answer's took me all over Amarillo.

No, I will start this by saying NO Country Pride is not opening back up BUT you can have the next best thing. The enchiladas. You know what I am talking about.
