We have all been there at some point in our life.  We have worked around a person, who, stinks.  It doesn't matter how many hints you drop, they don't seem to catch on.  So what do you do in this situation?

When it comes to working in an office, you work with a bunch of personalities.  Sometimes you have to allow for the occasional disagreement, however sometimes, things just really irritate you.  There are so many things that other people do that annoy another, and vice versa.  So what are some work place pet peeves.  I polled some people around my office.

When you're working in close quarters with the same people for long periods of time, the air can get a bit hostile now and then. While there's no way everyone in an office can get along perfectly, there are a few employees who find it hard to tolerate offensive actions, like eating other peoples' lunches or stuffing toilet paper in between the stalls so no one sees them on the toilet. It happens.

As Lori had mentioned in an earlier story, today is 'Love your pet day.' In her Top 5 list of ways to celebrate, I was surprised she didn't put 'bring your pet to the office.'

Yesterday, I did a post about a co-worker who left a more than half eaten Nutty Bar sitting on the cabinet in the break room and that got me thinking about the types of co-workers we are surrounded by everyday.  We all work around people each and every day...

Here in our office we have this unspoken agreement. If you have some kind of food that you don't want anymore, you leave it in the break room on the cabinet.  If someone wants it they take it.  By that, I mean they literally take it and leave the break room with it.   They don't leave it there with a bite taken out of it. Yeah, we have one of those people in our office.

Tomorrow is Administrative Professionals Day.  Have you thought about what you are going to get the person who handles the day to day scheduling, filing, phone calls etc.  In other words, don't forget to acknowledge your right hand person.

We all know how mundane work can get, doing the same thing day after day after day.  Sometimes you spend more time at work than you do at home.  You have co-workers who you see more than family.  That's why we want to help change up the same 'ol, same 'ol.  We would love to send you and your co-workers to lunch at Pescaraz Italian Restaurant.

My biggest pet peeve is "Reply to All".  I absolutely cannot stand that feature on the email.  I understand that there are some genuine uses for it but for the most part it has become a huge annoyance.
