I know that the end of Summer is drawing near and it stinks that school starts.  But you know what?  Summer isn't over and that means you can still have some awesome fun.  We have teamed up with our friends at the Arlington CVB.

During the month of July, the Coffee Memorial Blood Center has been promoting Boots vs. Badges.  Boots vs. Badges is a friendly competition between law enforcement and firefighters.  Each year they compete to see who can get the most blood donation for the blood center.  Then they wrap up the friendly competition with a baseball game.

If you want to learn more about the history of Downtown Amarillo, then this Saturday is a perfect opportunity to learn.  Center City is teaming up with the Amarillo Museum of Art and the Amarillo Cultural District to offer free trolley tours of historic Center City.

The Blizzard is coming and it's bringing a chance to cool off from this Summer heat.  It's also bringing a day of treats to help out the Children's Miracle Network.  Miracle Treat Day is around the corner and you need to mark your calendar for this awesome one day event.

Amarillo knows how to party when it comes to some of our favorite comics, movies, cosplay, anime and more.  We love our fantasy worlds and we love to celebrate them.  That's why you need to mark your calendar for Ama-Con.  It's is coming back to the Amarillo Civic Center.

Even though it's the middle of July, that doesn't stop folks from running for a great cause.  Amarillo runners are tightening up their laces and getting ready to run to help out the Bridge.

Apples, Coffee, Dips, Jewelry, Clothes and More.  Get ready to spend some time shopping at the Peddler Show this weekend at the Amarillo Civic Center.

Madison Taylor Knebusch was diagnosed with pediatric cancer when she was in 8th grade. At the time, her and her family were at a loss and didn't know where to turn. Madison lost her battle at the age of 16. Her family started the MTK Foundation to help care for kids with cancer. Coming up this Saturday, July 15th you can take part in a fun event to help out the MTK Foundation.

The Panhandle Plains Historical Museum is the place to learn all about our Panhandle history.  However, they also have some fun events.  So if you love beer and history and crafts, then get ready for a fun evening at Crafts and Drafts.

Get ready to celebrate snakes.  All kinds of snakes, small, medium, large, poisonous snakes, harmless snakes and more, at the Amarillo Zoo.

If you love animals and you love garage sales, then have I got the event for you.  The Amarillo SPCA is having their annual garage sale to raise fund for the no kill animal shelter.

Growing up in this area as a child, Wonderland Park becomes a great place to make memories.
