During the month of July, the Coffee Memorial Blood Center has been promoting Boots vs. Badges. Boots vs. Badges is a friendly competition between law enforcement and firefighters. Each year they compete to see who can get the most blood donation for the blood center. Then they wrap up the friendly competition with a baseball game.

Madison Taylor Knebusch was diagnosed with pediatric cancer when she was in 8th grade. At the time, her and her family were at a loss and didn't know where to turn. Madison lost her battle at the age of 16. Her family started the MTK Foundation to help care for kids with cancer. Coming up this Saturday, July 15th you can take part in a fun event to help out the MTK Foundation.
