The Calm Act Now In Effect – No More Loud Commercials on TV

Have you been sitting at home watching TV then it goes to commercial and that commercial is blaring. Advertisers do this to get your attention, however, it gets my attention and instantly annoys me. What is even worse is being awakened from a deep sleep by one of those blaring commercials. Well, no more, the Calm Act is now in effect.

The Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation Act or the Calm Act what it does is make the FCC require all television commercials not be louder than the television programming.

So no more sitting watching TV and BAM! the volume of your TV seems to shoot through the roof.
