The Case Of “Hi My Name Is” In Amarillo!

There are times that things just happen and you don't know how! They are entertaining and well a bit funny.

I have worked for the Amarillo Bulls for about five seasons. So for five seasons Rick Matchett, GM for the Bulls, has written me a check. Five years!

Last season I got this check! I did not realize what it said until I went to cash it. Look who he made the check out to.......

Luckily my one bank declined it but I also work at another bank. Oh, and they know I work for the Bulls so I was able to deposit it without having to go back to Rick and tell him what he did. Oh, but I found the time to joke and post about it on my Facebook page.

Which then one of my co-workers told Rick exactly what he did. I kept saying I know "Little House on the Prairie" was a long time ago....but I don't think Melissa Gilbert needs MY money!

So of course this season Rick decided to also make a joke of it.

He promised me that the check inside was in fact made out to me. Whew! Crisis diverted. We had a laugh about it. I mean I have known this guy for years.

I am horrible with names too but let me go out on a limb and say if Melissa Gilbert wants to change bank accounts with me. Well I am pretty sure I would be OK with that. Just let me know girl!
