When it comes to the holidays, this is the busiest times of the year for the US Postal Service.   So if you are planning on shipping gifts for Christmas here are the deadlines you need to meet.

For your package to make it by December 25th you need to mail it by:

Standard Post - December 15th

First Class Mail - December 20th

Priority Mail - December 20th

Priority Mail Express - December 23rd

Military Shipping

Space Available Mail  - 4 November 26th

Parcel Air Lift 5 - December  3rd

First-Class Mail, Priority Mail - December 10th

Priority Mail Express Military Service 6 -  December 17th
