Your Chance To Get Up Close With The Reptile Kingdom Is This Weekend

This weekend, I am kicking off a 30-Day Challenge trying to find one new activity in Amarillo every day for (hopefully) 30 straight days. This upcoming Saturday, my daughter and I will be heading out to the Tri-State Reptile Expo. Not only will there be tons of snakes, lizards, frogs, and other slithering and slimy creatures, but there will also be things of a more “cuddly” nature. The expo is September 30th - October 1st at the Amarillo Civic Center.

My daughter loves animals, is still just a toddler, and finding things to do on the weekends has been a bit of a challenge. Not only will she get to see all of the reptiles and the live animal presentations, but there is even going to be a petting zoo. This looks to be a great way to pass an afternoon, get the kids out of the house, and let them see some things that they don't always get a chance to see.
