You’ve Got To See Amarillo’s Photo Booth In An Awesome Vintage Camper
Recently, a post showed up on Reddit asking if there were an vintage photo booths around where you can take photos that get printed out on strips of paper. Someone on that post mentioned Beatnik Photo Camper.
I had to check it out based on the name alone.
Old School Photo Booths
It works just like the ones you remember visiting. Your photos come printed out on little strips. There are multiple photos on each one. Just like at Gatti's, Wonderland, and even Cinergy.
A Few Modern Touches And Conveniences
When you look at the photos of the camper, you can definitely see that there's a little bit more elbow room than in the booths we remember. The ones at pizza parlors and theme parks always had you crammed inside with just enough room for two people...tops.
This is a vintage camper that not only has room for you to take your photo in, but it looks like it's decorated to look a lot nicer than the ones we sat in that were covered in pizza grease.
You Don't Go To The Camper, The Camper Goes To You
Probably the coolest part is that this thing is on the move. You don't have to go to it. You can actually book it and have them come to you.
Talk about a way to make sure you set the bar for all neighborhood birthday parties this year.
A Lot Of Hidden Gems In The Panhandle
I talked a lot last year about all of the hidden gems we have in the Texas panhandle when it comes to businesses like this. It's crazy what all we have in town, that I'm still finding out about 4 years after moving here.
