Another great week is upon us and Spring is in the air, but the construction is still on going. Orange cones and barrels are everywhere and are slowing down our commutes.

Here are a few of the areas you will want to avoid on your daily commutes this morning.

As you may have noticed, a lot of construction is happening all over our roads in Amarillo.  The construction is not going away anytime soon.  So if you are planning to leave town for the Thanksgiving holiday, here are the areas you are going to want to avoid this week.

As you are getting ready to head out this morning, take a quick look to see if you need to find an alternate route to get to work.  It looks like several areas will see construction and lane closures this week.  There's nothing like walking into work late with the excuse of road construction. The Texas Department of Transportation has been working on an interchange project for the last few months.  However, starting next week, it might cause some problems for those who travel at night.
