Amarillo Family Shines Bright on ABC's The Great Christmas Light

Amarillo left it's mark on national television once again, and this time it was all positive. A local Amarillo family was featured on ABC's The Great Christmas Light Fight.

The Wilhelm Family was featured on the show this past Sunday. The Wilhelm Family is a family in Lake Tanglewood, who has Tangled Light Productions and they set up an amazing light show at their home. They go all out for Christmas and if you haven't experienced their Christmas lights you need to go and check it out. They have been bringing Christmas cheer to the Texas Panhandle for over 7 years.

If you would like to experience the Tangled Lights Production they are open for the season now. Tangled Lights is located at 11816 Flying W Trail. It is a 12-minute show the whole family will love, with dancing lights, wonderful Christmas songs and more. The show runs every 20 minutes nightly from 7pm - Midnight through January 6th.

Please note the traffic flow to get to the show. The route you will need to follow is south down Circle C, turn east on JA Trail, go south down Flying W Trail, turn east on Seven S, then North on Tanglewood Road.

The great thing about Tangled Light Productions is it is free to go watch. So make the short drive and see this amazing light show.

Amarillo is a pretty quirky place. We've got the Big Texan, the weird signs, and (obviously) the famed Cadillac Ranch. But more than that, there's a distinct culture of close-knit community, eccentrics, a thriving arts scene, and much more.

The point is, living in Amarillo is a unique experience. Because of that, it's really pretty easy to tell who's a native or a long-time resident. And I can prove it.
