The Amarillo Public Library offers different classes to the residents of Amarillo and most of those classes are free.

Do you or someone you know want to learn to speak English?  The Downtown and North Branch Libraries is offering their Fall English as a Second Language classes.

The classes are open to the public but registration is encouraged.

Classes are offered at the Downtown Library on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:30pm-7:30pm or Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30am-11:30am at the North Branch Library.

Registration for the ESL classes will begin this Wednesday, August 29th and Friday, August 30th.

The Amarillo Public Library will offer free citizenship classes as well.  The classes will begin on September 11th.  Classes will be offered at the Downtown Library on Tuesdays from 9:30am - 11:30am or 5:30pm-7pm.

To participate in citizenship classes you must be at least 18 years of age and have a Green card.
