Amarillo had a guest appearance on one of the best ever series to have ever graced the small screen.

I remember watching the show World's Wildest Police Videos as a young pup with my dad on the weekends. It was our bonding time.

I'll never forget the time we watched a segment of a semi-truck driver who had been up for too long and thought the devil was chasing him (spoiler: it was the cops, not the devil). After the chase ended, it cut to a State Trooper from the Texas DPS giving a brief interview on the chase--the trooper was none other but my uncle.

It was after I told this specific story to a friend of mine that I went to see if i couldn't hunt down a clip. Unfortunately, I have yet to find the clip (i will someday! Mark my words!) but what I did find was that one time that Amarillo made it onto a national police show that's not COPS.

No offense to COPS, I'll watch them nab bad boys and wrangle weirdos any other day--but there's something about that guy who hosts World's Wildest Police Videos that just gets my inner law dog ready to rumble.
