Tascosa Drive-In is an Amarillo staple. It's a landmark and stands as a reminder of a bygone era. Many of us were relieved when we found out that the drive-in would live on after its fate was shrouded in mystery, and it is getting ready to open once again for the season.

Showing at the drive-in for their opening weekend is a family-friendly double feature. Of the two films, one is sure to hit parents right in the part of their heart that holds onto nostalgia.

Showing first is Dog Man, and following it is everyone's favorite stuffed bear, Paddington. Paddington In Peru will round out the double feature on both nights.

Car Loads And Food Passes Are Back For Opening Weekend At Tascosa Drive-In

Opening weekend at Tascosa Drive-In will see a return to car load pricing and food passes. You can get car load pricing by purchasing one of the new Tascosa Drive-In stickers for your car.

Food passes will also be back for opening weekend. The food pass is a way for you to get around the "no outside food" rule at the drive-in. For a fee, you can bring in your own meal and snacks. The fee helps offset lost money at the concession stand, which happens to be the primary way the drive-in makes its money. Ticket sales primarily just go to the movie companies.
