When you're inside your home, you feel free. The ability to do whatever you want.
It's a time when you feel you can wear whatever you want, and do anything your little heart desires.
However, if your clothing of choice is, well, none at all, you better make sure those windows are closed.
Aside from the fact that it would just be flat-out embarrassing if your neighbor saw everything you have to offer, it can get you arrested.
I know, you're sitting there saying, "but I'm in my own house! It's not like I went outside and showed the world my goodies,". The problem is this. You exposed yourself for others to see, and that constitutes indecent exposure if anyone saw it and reported it.
Can you imagine getting a knock on your door and having the cuffs slapped on you because you left the blinds open while you walked around your house naked?
Sec. 21.08. INDECENT EXPOSURE. (a) A person commits an offense if he exposes his anus or any part of his genitals with intent to arouse or gratify the sexual desire of any person, and he is reckless about whether another is present who will be offended or alarmed by his act.
(b) An offense under this section is a Class B misdemeanor.
There is the legal definition of indecent exposure in Texas. Nowhere in there does it differentiate between being in your own home or out in public. It's that little part in there about "reckless about whether another is present" that will get ya.
So yes, feel free to roam about your house without the clothes, just don't let anyone outside see ya.
