One of the things I love the most about the 80s are the home videos. They wound up giving us one of the greatest TV shows of the 90s. Do you recognize Borger in this home video from the 80s?

How Much Has Borger Changed Over The Years?

What's interesting when reading through the comments, some people say how much it's still the same place. Others say that a whole lot has changed. I'm not sure who's right and who's wrong. I do know one thing though.

Gas stations do not look like that anymore.

I wonder if it was a full service. It had the soda vending machine out front, which is something you never see anymore. The old style gas pumps really took me back.

As I made my way through the video, I began wondering which businesses were still around and which ones had changed. Which buildings are still occupied, and which ones haven't seen a storefront in a long time?

Pay close attention to the screen being recorded. There are a couple of times you can make out the silhouette of a person on the right side of the screen, and you can see their lamp at one point on the left side of the screen.

The lamp, ironically enough, looks like it belongs in a video from the 80s. Look at around the 17:00 mark.
