Fall Fests and Fairs Coming up This Month in the Texas Panhandle
Fall, as far as the calendar is concerned, is pretty much here. That means there are going to be fall fests and fairs in the Texas panhandle to look forward to over the next couple of months.
These are the ones lined up for the month of September.
Fair in the Square - Amarillo
The first one up this month is the Fair in the Square. At this year's event, there will be bands, food trucks, and several of the merchants will be having sales.
- Date: Sep 11, 2021
- Where: Shops at Wolflin Square
- Time: 10 AM - 4 PM
- Bands, food trucks, sales
You can find out more by following this link to their event page.
Autumn Street Fest - Canyon
Later this month is Canyon's annual Autumn Street Fest. This will also be the last weekend of the Canyon Farmers Market for the season. There are several events planned, including the pet parade.
Pumpkins will also be handed out to the first 100 kids. The Boy Scouts will also have some for sale, and there will be a fun pumpkin activity to participate in.
Gracie's Project and Panhandle Paws of Hope will be at this year's events as well. If you've been thinking about adopting a pet, this would be a good time to talk with either organization about finding a four legged friend.
- Date: Sep 25, 2021
- Where: Canyon Square
- Time: 8 AM - 12 PM
- Pumpkins, Farmers Market, Pet Parade, shopping, dining

Seeing these events already lined up has me ready for October. I'm looking forward to all of the Halloween events we'll get to have this year.
