When it comes to changes, there are some we welcome with open arms in Amarillo. For some reason, they always seem to involve food. There is one thing we have proven over the years: how much we love food.

It’s always a major win when a favorite fast-food spot announces an expansion, especially when it introduces entirely new comfort food creations without replacing existing menu staples.

This expansion is something we can all get behind. Chick-fil-A will soon welcome its fall menu. According to the sign outside the 26th and Georgia location, the new menu will drop August 24.

Bringing items to the menu that have never been offered before, this seasonal drop is generating plenty of excitement for local families. My family loves Chick-fil-A, and it doesn't matter how many times we eat there; when the opportunity arises, that is our go-to. So there is no doubt we will try the fall menu.

A Brand-New Sweet and Savory Twist

They are introducing Waffles to their menu. This is welcomed, as you can soon order a Chicken and Waffle Sandwich.

Inside the All-Day Chicken & Waffle Sandwiches

The new Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches stack a Chick-fil-A filet between two maple-flavored waffles with applewood-smoked bacon, honey butter, and syrup on the side. You can choose to go with original, spicy, or grilled chicken, and there will even be a smaller breakfast version for those morning chicken lovers.

Campfire Comfort: S’mores Milkshakes and Frosted Coffees

That is not the only addition to the fall menu. They will also introduce a S'mores Milkshake and a S'mores Frosted coffee. Both are packed with chocolate, graham cracker, and marshmallow flavors.

Because these are limited-time items as part of the chain's nationwide rollout, local fans won't want to waste any time heading over to try them out once they drop on August 24. Get ready for plenty of extra drive-thru trips this season!
