Open Letter to Amarillo’s Kohl’s Location Make it Easier Please

Kohl's has been one of my favorite places to shop for years. You get Kohl's Cash and they lure you into buying more. They have it figured out. You can even make your Amazon returns there. Oh, and when they do, guess what? They give you more money to spend in the store.

Yep, they really do have it figured out. It's hard to go in and not find something that you need. Or that you don't need but you have Kohl's Cash so why not? I mean really. Kohl's does have it figured out.

I stopped by the other day because I had a gift that I had to return. Oh, and they make returns so simple at Kohl's. I don't dread making a return there as I do at some places. I do have to have one complaint.

I mean I love you Kohl's and all but why can't we go back to having both front doors open? They shut them down during Covid. They also shut down the dressing rooms. OK, I get it. That was almost three years ago.

The dressing rooms are back open but not all of the doors. Why? Is it just easier for your employees? Is there just a reason? I don't get it. They have plenty of parking. So if you happen to park in one of the spots when you first enter the parking lot you are going to have a walk, That's not bad if it's a nice Panhandle day. You know one without sixty mile per hour wind.

I guess the wind can help blow you into the store but it's not really fun. That is how it was when I stopped by the other day. I forgot about the door situation so I parked in my normal area and here I was having a walk.

It then made me chuckle a bit when one of their open doors also had a sign on it. That sign said it was closed too. Oh, but it was standing open as well so most people ignored their message and walked through the door being held open for them. I mean they just had to hike in the wind to get to the only entrance to the store.

So come on Kohl's why are you doing this? I mean you already took away my favorite clothing brand so I am not over that yet. Why the hike now? Why am I having to remember the doors are closed? Why can't we have all the doors that were given to us open?
