A New Era: The Massive Change Coming to Wonderland Park This Season
Here we are, a new day with Wonderland Park in Amarillo. They just recently got new owners, and they are planning to make some changes. Wonderland Park is somewhere a lot of us grew up going to.
A New Chapter: 360 Parks Takes the Reins at Wonderland
I grew up there, eventually took my daughter, and now I get to share those same memories with my granddaughter. There are going to be changes now that 360 Parks has taken over ownership.

One of the first things that they have hinted at is something I know a lot of people have asked for in the past. Season tickets. I mean, if you have kids who would like to go several times throughout the season, this makes sense.
The Game-Changer: Unlimited Visits with New Season Passes
Season passes make it much more cost-effective for families. Most amusement parks offer a deal like this, but Wonderland Park never did. That seems to be something that is going to change, according to their social media page:
Something big is coming to Wonderland…New owners. New experiences.New season pass. Unlimited visits.
That is huge and will make a lot of people happy. So this is a step in the right direction. I am excited to see what else they look to change before they open. Are they going to open in time for Easter weekend? They always have in the past. Is that going to stay the same?

Ride Rumors: Will the Texas Tornado and Fantastic Journey See Changes?
Will they finally include the Fantastic Journey and Texas Tornado rides in the regular entrance fee? Or will that continue to be something you have to pay extra for? That is the one change I am hoping to have happen.
Backward Himalaya? The Fan-Favorite Features We Hope Return
I know there are fans of the park who miss the fact that the Himalaya used to go backwards. Is that something that can happen again? Is it a repair that needs to be made? I remember how riders would scream their heads off the moment the ride prepared to change direction.
Some things could be changed. Some things need to stay the same. We are excited to see what other changes are in our future as the new season of Wonderland Park is getting closer to happening. Season Passes are a great first step.
