Do The Dill Pickle Hot Cheetos Even Exist In Amarillo, Texas?
Sometimes there is an item that comes out and everyone in the city goes on a wild goose chase for it. Well, that's happening as we speak in Amarillo, and it's all over a bag of chips.
Yes, chips. Not something I'd think people would be hitting up every possible place they could think of to find them, but it's quickly becoming one of those mythical things where you hear about it, but you can't find it.

I only know this because I'm one of the ones who's been keeping their eyes peeled and checking multiple places for them simply because my wife is dying for them. She's not alone.
I've tried United, Market Street, Walmart, Target, the Walmart Neighborhood Market, and several convenience stores. Nope, none of them have even hit the shelves from what I can tell. Maybe I've just been late.
I'm talking about the Dill Pickle Hot Cheetos. Yes, everyone wants them, and no one is getting them. Do they even exist? It doesn't seem like it, but there is apparently a reason as to why we can't find them on the shelves.
Rumor has it according to Frito Lay, they sold out of them so fast across the country that they can't keep up with the demand. It could be weeks, even months before we see them hit the shelves again.
Look, if you're going to make ANYTHING pickle flavored and put it in Texas, you better make sure you've made more than enough, because we love our pickle flavored anything.
So if you're trying to hunt these things down, you can probably take a break from your scavenger hunt and just keep your eyes open here in a couple of weeks. However, if they do hit the shelves, I'll fight you for a bag or two.
