When Texas decides to do something, we go all out. That's even true when it comes to luxury items. In a recent study that was done regarding Texans and our taste for the good life, we actually outranked New York in the number of searches we're doing online for luxury brands.
Here the name brands that Texans crave.
Texans Love The Good Life
According to the study that was done recently by Chrono24, a leading marketplace for luxury watches, Texas has a real love for luxury.
According to their research, Texas is the state searching online the most for luxury name brands. We even beat out New York...fashion central.
When I stop to think about it, it makes sense. I've lived on the coast where everyone thought that Texans were rich oil barons or ranchers. They also believe we all wear ten-gallon hats and still use horses as our main mode of transportation.
We know that's not true at all, for the most part. We all have that one cousin.
Which Luxury Brands Are Most Popular In Texas?
The study boiled down the top five luxury brands we all seem to want to get our hands on in the Lone Star State. According to their study, the brands (in order) are:
- Louis Vuitton
- The North Face
I'm familiar with three of those. Not on my own account. I had a girlfriend for a couple of weeks with expensive tastes. It didn't work out.
The North Face didn't shock me. Pay attention the next time you're pretty much anywhere in public and you'll notice that The North Face is pretty popular in Texas.
Louis Vuitton isn't shocking...because it's Louis Vuitton, and Gucci is, well, Gucci.
I'm not as familiar with the other two, and you're free to make whatever value judgement you want to about me because of it. I like to think it's because I'm a man of the people.
