Miley Cyrus’ Pet Pig Has Died, Singer Posts Heartfelt Instagram Tribute
Miley Cyrus posted a touching Instagram tribute to her beloved pet pig, Pig Pig, who died this week.
In a series of Instagram Stories posted on Wednesday (July 11), the "Mother's Daughter" singer revealed the heartbreaking news that her pet, who was initially named Bubba Sue before she renamed her, had passed away,
“Very sad to say...my dear friend Pig Pig has passed away...I will miss you always...thank you for so many laughs and good times girl," she wrote alongside a video of her carrying the pic as she eats an apple.
In another post, the 26-year-old pop star shared an image of when she first adopted the Pig Pig alongside the message, “I will miss you Pig Pig" and a broken heart emoji. She followed that up with a picture from her infamous 2015 Paper magazine cover shoot where she posed nude with the animal.
Cyrus, who first adopted Pig Pig in 2014 after her beloved dog Floyd passed away, talked about her pet during an appearance on The Tonight Show in 2015. She told host Jimmy Fallon, "As long as you give her food she's totally cool, She'll let you paint her nails and all that. She's awesome."
