You may notice a sore, and as it progresses you may notice rashes and sores on your mouth, or private areas (you know what I'm talking about).   Other symptoms include fever, swollen glands, sore throat, fatigue, and muscle aches.

If not treated, it could eventually spread to your brain and nervous system, eyes, ears.

Oh and if you are pregnant, you can pass Syphilis on to your unborn child.

How to I know if I have Syphilis?

Visit your health care provider and get tested.  If you do have Syphilis, it can be treated with antibiotics.  If you don't have insurance, you can visit your local Planned Parenthood, or a different health clinic, testing and treatment are usually affordable at these facilities.
