Rumors in Amarillo has surprised everyone with a recent announcement. Not only are they going to open again, but it's going to be very soon, and they're hiring.

After Years Of Being Closed, Rumors Is Back In Amarillo, Texas

Rumors saw plenty of drama before closing several years ago. It marred the image of a bar that had been one of those places people always mentioned when asked about places to go for a night out in Amarillo.

In 2021, Rumors was closed for a time following the shooting death of the then-owner, Cindy Jayroe. The following year, the fate of Rumors would hang in the balance again after a drunk driving incident that resulted in the death of five people.

This new and improved version of Rumors seems to be a departure from the place that it had become.

Rumors is back. They have a fresh social media presence and have posted updates regarding their Amarillo opening. The first post was in May of this year.

According to their social media posts, they will be reopening this summer. They're promising more TVs, a fresh vibe, drink specials, and special events. They've even mentioned pool and dart leagues.

Rumors plans to reopen sometime this summer. Currently, they're looking to hire their staff. They are looking for bartenders, barbacks, and waitresses. Rumors will even be hosting a hiring event on June 12th and 14th.
