Scientists Have Found a Way to Grow New Teeth from Urine

Scientists in China have found a way to grow teeth from urine.  Something about stem cells in human pee.  First of all, where did this idea come about.  Were these scientist having lunch and one jokingly said let's see if we can make teeth from pee.

I'm a little disturbed by the whole thing, but here's more information.
